台北華新兒童合唱團

臺灣著名的合唱教育團體：臺北華新兒童合唱團，成立於1988年，由華新建設公司與臺北縣立文化局共同合作創設，成立之初秉持著企業回饋社會、提升在地文化、推廣兒童合唱教育的理念，多年來不僅是新北市政府文化局傑出演藝團隊，也是國內少數獲得政府單位支持之兒童合唱團。
在現任音樂總監暨指揮陳雲紅之帶領下，臺北華新兒童合唱團已具備完善的教學分級制度，團員人數近300人，年齡層跨足學齡前（中班）至國中，為臺灣著名的合唱教育團體。
超過三十年的音樂路上，臺北華新兒童合唱團每年於國家音樂廳、臺北市中山堂、新北市藝文中心舉辦公演，以合唱結合各類型表演藝術形式，為合唱演出注入新風貌外，演唱足跡更深入歐、亞、美、澳各地二十餘國。如：2001獲邀於希臘雅典Preveza第十九屆國際合唱節中演出、2004年於德國布萊梅所舉辦之第三屆「國際奧林匹克合唱大賽」中，獲得伴奏民謠組金牌，皆深獲各界好評。
臺北華新兒童合唱團亦善盡傳遞文化、關懷社會的角色，曾於瓜地馬拉共和國總統訪華行程中受邀演出、應伊甸社會福利基金會之邀，參與慈善募款音樂會演出、至臺灣各地安養院和醫院進行傳愛演出、與臺灣北部地區國小進行音樂交流等等。
結合了教育功能與藝術價值的臺北華新兒童合唱團，在兒童合唱教育的工作上不斷精益求精，在演出曲目上，也力求突破，除了挑戰無伴奏的兒童合唱作品，也嘗試將臺灣各種語言的兒童合唱創作融合，成為近年來臺灣兒童合唱表演藝術的一大突破。

Taipei Hua Shin Children’s Chorus was founded in 1988 by HuaXin Development Group and Culture Affairs Bureau of Taipei County Government. Social responsibility for promoting local culture and propagating children choral education has been the vision of Taipei Hua Shin Children’s Chorus. For over 30 years of development with the help of the Culture Affairs Bureau of Taipei County Government, Taipei Hua Shin Children’s Chorus has been one of the very few children’s choruses to receive full governmental funding. Under the direction of Ms. Yun-Hung Chen, Hua Shin now has a complete level program, including performance level, advanced level, intermediate level and rudiment level, covers 300 members. Hua Shin is an outstanding educational group of ensemble music, and also internationally recognized for its extinguished techniques and performance. In 2001, Taipei Hua Shin Children’s Chorus was invited to perform in the 19th Preveza International Choral Festival in Athens. Moreover, Taipei Hua Shin Children’s Chorus won the gold medal of the traditional folksong category at the 3rd Choir Olympics in Bremen. To date, Hua Shin’s voice has travelled through more than 20 countries around the world and received excellent reviews from critics from all related fields.
Not only does Taipei Hua Shin Children’s Chorus perform regularly at the National Concert Hall, but also actively engages in association of music with various chorus from schools in the north of Taiwan, through music, voice and the accumulated experiences. In addition, Hua Shin acts as a cultural ambassador, performing during the visit of the president of Republic of Guatemala. Eden Social Welfare Foundation has also invited the chorus to partake in the annual fundraising concert. Hua Shin acts as the role of a culture point and liaison, and it will never stop.
Taipei Hua Shin Children’s Chorus combines educational function and artistic value, and it strives for perfection. Hua Shin also wants to reach a greater height on its performance repertoire; it not only takes on the challenge of some unaccompanied (a cappella) choral works, but also attempts to blend many different local children’s choral works of various Taiwanese dialogues, titled “Taiwan Walked Pass”. In addition, the performance incorporates full stage choreography. It is the biggest breakthrough of children’s performing art in recent years in Taiwan. The performance displays a great deal of children’s humor and innocence, and arouses infinite creativity and potential throughout the learning process.
