Maintenance and Management of the Shulin Arts Center

Rules for Maintenance and Management:

the rules are based on the Building Act, the Regulations for Inspecting and Reporting on the Public Security of Buildings, the Regulations for the Inspection and Declaration of Fire Safety Equipment, the Administrative Regulations on the Installation and Inspection of Elevators in Buildings, and the Regulations on Power-use Locations and Full-time Electrical Technicians.

 

Summary of the Main Contents of Maintenance and Management:

Building Public Safety Inspection:

  • According to Article 77 of the Building Act and the Regulations for Inspecting and Reporting on the Public Security of Buildings, building public safety inspections must be conducted once a year.
  • The last application date of the Center: February 8, 2021.

Fire Safety Equipment:

  • According to the Regulations for the Inspection and Declaration of Fire Safety Equipment, fire safety equipment must be inspected once every six months.
  • The last application date: October 5, 2021.

 Elevators:

  • The elevators are inspected and maintained in accordance with the Administrative Regulations on the Installation and Inspection of Elevators in Buildings. Dumbwaiter lifts must be inspected once every three years, and elevators once a year. Whole buildings that have not passed a complete inspection for 15 years are assessed once every six months.
  • The expiration date of the elevator inspection at the Center: November 7, 2021 and November 7, 2022.

High and Low Voltage Electrical Equipment:

  • According to the Regulations on Power-use Locations and Full-time Electrical Technicians, high and low voltage electrical equipment must be inspected at least once every six months and inspected with the power off at least once a year.
  • The inspection frequency of the Center is once per day.
