作品介紹｜《消失的電視巷》

Google 地圖上已找不到桂林路的電視巷，巷內的鐵皮屋隱藏著修復影像管螢幕的技師。厚重的 CRT 映像管螢幕自 2010 年起逐步停產，取而代之的是數位化的液晶螢幕。CRT 陰極射線管是 60 年代錄像藝術的代表媒介，反映了影像傳播的演變過程，與當時的人文思潮息息相關。消失的電視巷象徵著電子射線、電荷粒子、示波器和真空管的遺留痕跡，揭示了隱蔽場域的不可視面，以及其政治隱喻和社會中失落的現實。

Guanglin Road's Tele Alley, unmarked on Google Maps, conceals within its tin-roofed houses a craftsman skilled in repairing CRT monitors. These heavy CRT screens, once commonplace, were gradually phased out around 2010, replaced by digital LCD displays.

The CRT, or cathode-ray tube, was a hallmark of video art in the 1960s, reflecting the evolution of visual media and its close ties to the cultural movements of the time. The now-vanished Tele Alley symbolizes the remnants of electron beams, charged particles, oscilloscopes, and vacuum tubes, revealing the unseen aspects of hidden spaces along with the political metaphors and lost realities within society.
